After high winds, hail, or a falling limb, we inspect your roof, siding, and windows and document what we find with photos, so you know exactly what you are working with.

Insurance Claim Support

We help Montgomery homeowners understand storm damage and move through the insurance claim process with clear expectations.

Lifetime Labor Warranty

Every roof replacement includes lifetime labor and lifetime manufacturer material coverage, so your home stays protected for the long haul.

Montgomery, Texas

Lone Star Roots. Lakeside Living.

Montgomery is one of the oldest towns in Texas, set about 15 miles west of Conroe near the west shore of Lake Conroe and the edge of Sam Houston National Forest. From historic homes downtown to lakefront and golf course homes in Walden, Bentwater, and April Sound, Rainy Day Roofing, Siding, & Windows delivers storm-ready protection built for Texas weather.

Birthplace Of The Lone Star Flag

W. W. Shepperd founded the town of Montgomery in July 1837 in the middle of the Lake Creek Settlement, and it became the first county seat of Montgomery County, the third county created by the Republic of Texas. Local physician Charles B. Stewart is credited with designing the Lone Star Flag, adopted in 1839.

Montgomery Today

The Texas Legislature recognized Montgomery County as the Birthplace of the Lone Star Flag in 1997, and the town’s historic district still draws visitors. The city counted 1,948 residents in 2020, while thousands more live in the Lake Conroe communities that share a Montgomery address.

Montgomery Home Improvement FAQs

Answers to common questions from homeowners considering roofing, siding, or window work in Montgomery.

Do I need a permit to replace my roof in Montgomery?

It depends on where your home sits. Homes inside Montgomery city limits follow the city’s requirements, while many Lake Conroe homes with a Montgomery address fall under Montgomery County and their HOA instead. We confirm what applies to your address before work begins.

Does my Lake Conroe community need to approve my new roof?

Usually, yes. Communities like Walden, Bentwater, and April Sound have architectural guidelines that review roof color and material before work starts. We provide the product details and samples they ask for.

How do storms affect homes near Lake Conroe?

Wind picks up speed over open water, so lakefront homes often take the brunt of a storm, and the area’s pines drop limbs in high winds, as many homeowners saw during Hurricane Beryl in 2024.

If a storm comes through, we can inspect your roof, document any damage with photos, and help you decide whether an insurance claim makes sense.

How much is a roof in Montgomery?

Montgomery has everything from historic homes downtown to large lakefront homes with steep, complex rooflines, and roof size, pitch, and material all affect the price.

Our instant roof estimate gives you a price for your specific home in seconds, and an in-person inspection confirms every detail before you commit.

Can you work on older homes in Montgomery’s historic district?

Yes. We can help you choose roofing, siding, and windows that respect an older home’s character while adding modern protection and energy efficiency.

Which Montgomery areas do you serve?

We serve homeowners throughout Montgomery and the west side of Lake Conroe, including the historic district, Walden, Bentwater, April Sound, and Del Lago, plus nearby Conroe, Willis, and Magnolia.
