Sienna, Texas

River Views. Room To Roam.

Sienna is a master-planned community of more than 10,000 acres in eastern Fort Bend County, mostly within Missouri City’s extraterritorial jurisdiction, with the Brazos River on its western edge. From late-1990s homes to brand-new builds, Rainy Day Roofing, Siding, & Windows delivers storm-ready protection built for Texas weather.

From Brazos Farmland To Sienna

The land was part of Stephen F. Austin’s original colony and was farmed for sugar cane and cotton through the 1800s. Johnson Development began planning a community here in the 1970s, homebuilding took off in the late 1990s, and the community shortened its name from Sienna Plantation to Sienna in 2019.

Sienna Today

Sienna has lakes, parks, a golf course, and a trail along 4 miles of the Brazos River, and students attend Fort Bend ISD schools including Ridge Point High School. The 2020 census counted 20,204 residents, up from 13,721 in 2010.

Sienna Home Improvement FAQs

Answers to common questions from homeowners considering roofing, siding, or window work in Sienna.

Do I need a permit to replace my roof in Sienna?

Most of Sienna is outside city limits in Missouri City’s extraterritorial jurisdiction, so the approval that matters most is usually the community’s architectural review. We confirm what applies to your address before work begins.

Does the Sienna HOA need to approve my new roof?

Yes. Sienna has architectural guidelines that review roof color and material before work starts. We provide the product details and samples the review committee asks for.

How bad is storm season in Sienna?

Sienna sits on open land along the Brazos River, so spring hail and high winds move through quickly, and tropical systems like Hurricane Beryl in 2024 bring damaging winds and heavy rain.

If a storm comes through, we can inspect your roof, document any damage with photos, and help you decide whether an insurance claim makes sense.

How much is a roof in Sienna?

Sienna homes range from one-story homes built in the late 1990s to large two-story homes in the newest sections, and roof size, pitch, and material all affect the price.

Our instant roof estimate gives you a price for your specific home in seconds, and an in-person inspection confirms every detail before you commit.

My Sienna home was built in the late 1990s or early 2000s. Is it time for a new roof?

Many original Sienna roofs are now 20 years old or more, which is about when builder-grade shingles start to wear out. An inspection can tell you whether a repair will do or it is time to plan a replacement.

Do you serve all of Sienna?

Yes. We serve every Sienna section, from the original neighborhoods near the golf course to the newest homes along the Brazos River, plus nearby Missouri City, Fresno, Arcola, and Sugar Land.
